Log-in Site Introduction:

"The most exciting phrase to hear in science, the one that heralds new discoveries, is not 'Eureka!' but,
'That's funny...' "
- Isaac Asimov

"An expert is a man who has made all the mistakes, which can be made, in a very narrow field."
- Niels Bohr

The aim of this site is to provide a service to those interested in this novel Java interactive approach to the design of microwave and EW systems.
Especially those considering purchasing or have purchased the ebook or book entitled, "MICROWAVE SYSTEM DESIGN TOOLS & EW APPLICATIONS".

The second edition underpins the applets contained on the CDROM supplied with the book.
The earlier first edition published in 2005, comprised a CDROM containing a fully hyperlinked ebook and applets.

It is probably true to say that any topic in any technical textbook would benefit from converting derived mathematical concepts into graphical Java applets.
Potential technical authors are urged therefore to consider this approach.

This site provides:

1. Corrections and Clarifications as found in the book manuscript.
2. Additional material and clarification of topics.
3. First edition applet updates.
4. Second edition applet updates..
5. A fully hyperlinked HTML version of the first ebook edition.
6. Short Introduction to Writing Java Applets

Notes:

Some example applet tools can be selected from the left-hand pane.
More applets are available in the first edition eBook Sampler and book Applet Summary links.
Access to all applets is possible only via the CD supplied with the book.
Comments and suggestions for new applets are gratefully received.
Applets run in all modern browsers and in Internet Explorer Version 4 or later with the Java Virtual Machine plug-in installed.
The SUN Java Virtual Machine is available from http://www.java.com.
