As with any software, comprehensive debugging and accuracy validation are essential to ensure the application usefulness.
The workbench at the compilation stage traps simple errors but detailed testing is required in running the applet to ensure that all interactive features operate consistently together. The JAVA language also has error trapping features. These are useful for trapping incompatible user inputs and division errors.
Validating math computations and accuracies is important especially for complex expressions and integrations. Parallel checking with well-known mathematical CAD packages is essential.
Finally operation and compatibility with different browsers and Java Virtual Machines should be checked. Different JVMís may interpret graphical layouts slightly differently.
