The applet indicates the maximum DF error allowed for a secondary DF system to successfully resolve ambiguities in a colocated interferometer.
The interferometer minimum Antenna-pair Spacing, required field-of-view (Req'd FoV) and interferometer phase discriminator maximum phase measurement error (Phase Error) are set up on the scrollbars.
The plots show the allowed DF error on the interferometer boresight (red curve - direction perpendicular to the interferometer axis) and also at the edge of the specified field of view (blue).
The operating frequency range (RF Band) is adjusted using the text boxes and Enter button at the bottom of the applet.
The Source Elevation scrollbar shows the effect of source elevation on allowed error for the set field-of-view.
